Jaker Uddin Samrat is a distinguished expert in the field of television broadcasting in Bangladesh. With over fifteen years of experience, he has been leading the news and broadcast sector, taking the country’s television industry to new heights through the integration of modern technology.
He is currently serving as the Director of News, Broadcast, and IT at My TV Bangladesh. Under his leadership, Bangladesh witnessed the launch of its first-ever 24-hour remote broadcasting television channel in 2007, along with the implementation of an independent news gathering system and earth station automation technology.
His passion for technology and media is boundless. He holds extensive expertise in information technology, television and radio broadcasting, networking and cybersecurity, satellite technology, and digital media. As a consultant and entrepreneur, he has successfully designed, planned, and installed Broadcast systems and IPTV infrastructures for several television stations.
His leadership in the newsroom is equally remarkable, particularly in journalist assignments, news programming, and overall editorial management.
